WEDG is the Development Education Centre (DEC) for East Kent. We engage with schools, universities, community groups and other educators in East Kent to promote awareness of people from different countries and cultures as well as better understanding of issues such as sustainable development and social justice. One of the ways we achieve this is through arts based workshops such as East African fabric painting, Chinese calligraphy or Playground Games from around the World to schools and community groups.
