We are a small friendly Art Group meeting every two weeks on a Thursday afternoon, between 2.00 and 4.00pm, at the Parish Social Centre, Castle Road, Whitstable. All abilities are welcome. As well as having 'themed' afternoons we have demonstrations, workshops, indoor and outdoor exhibitions. Anyone is welcome to come along one Thursday afternoon and see what goes on. Whitstable Choral Society is a mixed choir of 100 plus members who meet weekly on a Tuesday evening in St John's Church Whitstable. We aim to perform four concerts each year in local venues which include Canterbury Cathedral and St Alphege Church Whitstable.The music we sing is varied and we are always looking for new members. Our Musical Director is David Flood the organist and choirmaster at Canterbury Cathedral. We have many social events.

Whitstable Music Society arrange and promote chamber music concerts and recitals

YearOne is a not-for-profit organisation, comprising a curatorial project featuring the work of 12 national and international artists, encouraging them to push the direction of their work into a more experimental vein. The project is currently in the planning stage. YearOne will be located in Canterbury, for the people of Canterbury as a local arts destination.
